The GWR Predator, perhaps the most spectacular single seater to do the rounds of the UK hillclimbing scene of recent years. Superb sounding Formula One-derived V10 engine (albeit not naturally suited to the hills due to a lack of torque), and one of the best hillclimbers behind the wheel (Graeme White Jr). I was just wondering, does anyone know where it is now? I only ever saw it get run at my local hill Shelsley Walsh once (same meeting as in the video), but that left a lasting impression on me. The noise as it went up the final straight... cloud9

greme still has the predator but is concentrating on his latest cars
caled raptor,s which has done fantastically this year.
even though they are only 1600 bike engines it has been beating alot of the large engined single seaters.

Ahh yes I had seen those, they are unbelievably quick - I think one that's running this year was nearly as quick up Shelsley as Graeme was in his V6-powered Gould a few years back! Scary... Good to hear he still has the monster though - from what I gather unfortunately it sounded like a bit of a moneypit, as he was always having teething problems with it frown. Thanks for the info chap smile

As Andy said, Lee Adams has been going very well in the GWR Raptor and I believe there will be another on the hills next year.

No plans for the Predator to be out as far as I know but Graeme is often on the Flatchat site and you could ask him yourself

Jos Goodyear has ordered a Raptor and Graeme is currently busy with the build, He has however stated that he's getting tempted to bring the glorious Predator back out of retirement yesbounceclap
