He's got to keep his nose clean at the start and has plenty of passing to do but maybe he could luck a podium place, or is that wishful thinking?

Start on new hards and then go with the 3 sets of brand new softs he has (if he needs them/does 4 stops), set consistent fastest laps, safety car to help him out - with fresh rubber surely he can last 3 or more laps longer than everybody else on scrubbed sets while still setting quick lap times?

Yep, I reckon he'll have about 25-30 seconds on the rest of the grid, more if he can go a pitstop less than everyone else. It all depends on him clearing his way through without trouble though.

He has the tools but I just dont see Britney maxing them. Great first few minutes at Spa though.

23rd on the grid and "in with a shout"? Are you serious?

Nope.. Mercs are too heavy on their tyres over race distance. Can't see it happening unless something unfortunate happens to enough of Alonso, Hamilton, Button, Webber, Vettel.

Well, Webber and Button have done it with less fresh sets of tyres, yeah their cars are better than the Merc but we'll see I guess.

hehe If anything that safety car came a little early for Rosberg, I was actually disappointed that he didn't get into the top six, I thought it was a possibility but from the footage the Mercs semed to be lacking traction out of the final corner onto the pit straight - hey ho...

Was a bit disappointed really. We've seen some stinking charges through the field this year, but as good as 10th is from the back of the grid, I thought he could achieve better.

In reality the best he was ever going to achieve, assuming no one from the top 3 teams dropped out, was 8th. he was only 2 places off that

Mere facts do not interest me. What I wanted to see was stonking storming through the field, and he did not deliver. He is not on my Xmas card list anymore.

hehe In my opinion, Rosberg is one of those drivers that has the ability to shine in the right car. Kobi, Algesquigy, and Perez also fall in that group.
