Not often I post in this forum, but I sponsored to young karters this year in the easykart championships, one was crowned uk champ, and they both qualified for the world finals in Italy today.

Countdown to the world easykart final. Team Lockyers/advanced profiling ,luca and Ayrton Hirst are p1 and P2 in the final at 3.05. You can watch the live Italian stream here http://www.easykart.com/anteprima_finale_castelletto2011a.php

Not much response, but it was an excellent result for the Uk, and us, as luca Hirst absolutely smashed it and is now the UK easykart champion, not by a small margin but half a lap.

the next problem is how to help him move onto the stage of motorsport. Anyone know any good motorsports agents?

He needs to figure out a career path and a business plan before he gets an agent.

Unfortunately Jon it will all be down to how much money you will give him to race.... Lots of things available if you have the Money.

Yeah, there's plenty of drives in the January Dubai 24hr race if you've between £10k and £30k to spend:

Lexus:

These two might be better starting points though:
