Live on Motors TV Saturday night, it's the race where they have a load of international drivers in as co-drivers to the regulars. And the Surfers Paradise street circuit is a brilliant track.

Full list the international drivers is on the link below.

The international drivers this year are competing for the, now renamed, Dan Wheldon trophy. 4 Brits are entered including Darren Turner who has joined James Courtney in the car Dan should have been driving.

Is there anyway to watch this if you dont have the correct TV station available?

Tried registering with Big Pond to get their live streaming but I don't appear to have been successful!

I signed up to it, it does work. When you log in, do a search for v8 live, it'll take yout straight to it. For some reason the link doesn't seem to work from the actual log in page.

That'll do, didn't fancy another V8 induced loss of sleep biggrin

Bourdais seems to be best of the internationals so far, Priaulx sounds decent too. Gavin managed 5th in both international only practice, fastest of those who've never driven one of the cars.

Seems like quite a good way of drawing comparison between the internationals talent level, everyone's favourite F1 mobile chicane Liuzzi appears to be barely troubling the positions starting with a "2"...

I have a friend with an apartment in Surfers. I'm negotiating a trip to the GC 600 in a couple of years to combine with Bathurst. Total redneck overload.

He's familiar with driving Corvettes and Camaros in the states so should be used to front engined barges.

James Moffat, take a bow son clap Obviously the strategy meant he'd be running the richest map and fresh tyres at the end, but he was really pedalling that thing, serious commitment through the chicanes.

Real shame about Priaulx and Lowndes mechanicals, Priaulx obviously has the speed in the car. Hopefully they've got the bad luck out the way for tomorrow.

Priaulx is probably the best Tin-Top driver in the world!!

Priaulx, Bourdais and Pagenaud: a trio of class acts.

Lowndes might always have a smile on his face, but he has to be getting pretty annoyed at queuing in the pits behind Whincup. Cost him something like 45 seconds in total at Bathurst which would have given him an easy win, then dropped him from 2nd to 12th today.

Good work by Bourdais, looked brilliant in both races and deserved the Wheldon trophy. Priaulx again looked good in his stint too.

How many of the regular drivers got miffed with their temporary drivers when they kept hopping the kerbs (6 hops and then a drive through penalty). Boris Said III was one of the worst offenders, never even tried to follow the circuit.

Boris Said never got a drive through though, he was so far to the left that the system didn't pick him up.
