23.10.11
The BRSCC regrets to announce that staff member Carole Jackson sadly passed away in Kings College Hospital, London, this morning. Carole was unexpectedly taken ill on Friday 14th October and had been receiving treatment in the hospital since then.
BRSCC Chairman Bernard Cottrell said, "This is truly dreadful news and a great shock to everyone who knew Carole. She had been a much valued member of the HQ staff for several years now and will be sorely missed. Everyone at the BRSCC would like to extend their deepest sympathies to Carole's family.".
Details of the funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
Carole was always a very chatty & helpful lady who could never do enough to help with my race entries etc. etc.
. . . another very recent and unfortunate loss to motorsport.

This is very shocking and sad news indeed. I met Carole last year at the annual BRSCC dinner and found her to be a lovely woman with a terrific sense of humour and personality. We often had a nice chat when I put in my race entries. I always found Carole to be very extremely helpful and efficient at her job. She will certainly be missed.

i got the e-mail on my phone this morning, totally shocked at the news, like everyone else i found Carole massively helpful, when Keith and i started racing 4 years ago, Carole could not do enough to help us start in our tvr racing.
it was great to finaly meet her at brands a couple of years ago after so many long helpful conversations especialy helping to organise the tv coverage in 2009/2010,i only spoke to her a couple of weeks ago about oulton, again as usual very helpful, gave great advice and saved me some money, still can't believe it.
my thoughts are with her family, Massive loss to uk club motorsport.

I heard the sad news yesterday and really couldn't believe it. So sudden. So young. Such a tragedy
Carole was such an important part of the BRSCC always cheerful and helpful. Carole was my main contact at the BRSCC, as I am sure she was for most competitors, and if I asked some silly question about a race meeting she would always get me an answer or direct me to someone who could give me an answer and was always chirpy and pleasant.
I shall miss her as I am sure all who came into contact with her will and my heartfelt sympathy goes out to her family, friends and her work colleagues.
