Help on US GP

Hi guys.
I missed part of the race and wondered how on earth Schuey managed to pit stop under the Safety Car and still retain the lead. Surely he wasn't that far ahead at the time?

Everyone else at the front pitted apart from the BAR's who had to drive slowly through Ralf's accident. The gap he had, plus a quick stop and them slowing down was just enough to retain the lead.

Plus it's a very quick stop, he would have been going through the pitlane entrance lane (inside Ralf and still at racing speed.
