The World Rallying section on there isn't too bad. People are actually willing to listen to each others point of view and are generally pretty well informed. It's just a shame when a rogue poster strays over from the British Rallying section and bemoans the fact that Malcolm Wilson isn't handing out free drives to their mate who has a nova and finished 10th overall on a single venue event last week.
Maybe it is time for a dedicated rallying forum in the motorsport section on Pistonheads?

In my defence he gives his son a car.
I haven't posted on British Rally in yonks. I can't even remember my login details.
Well I have had nothing but useful constructive “chit chats” on the BRF, however there are a few “argumentative” people on there, as there are on any forum in my experience.
The most “entertaining” forum thread I have come across is the Lewis vs Jenson one under racing comments on the autosport forum, a lot of it is so ridiculous its funny, bit like a bad soap, you hate it, but are enticed to have a look!
The Motorsport section here on PH generally have a much better levelled approach, maybe the average age is higher

I've always wondered why there isn't a Rallying section on here. Lets face it there are more lounges than you can shake a stick at yet nothing for what still one of the UK's most popular and easily accessible forms of motor sport.
I'm well aware of BRF and post on there a bit, but there's probably room for something on here, it might be a bit less 'intense' too, BRF can at times be a bit too close to the knuckle for my liking.

i used to frequent the BRF, but lost my login/password deatils after a few months away from it.
have emailed the Admin team twice about forgotten login help too and am still awaiting a reply
1st email was January this year

Yeah I think it's to deal with spam post.
Thats my trouble tho couldn't use my hotmail one so used work instead, but can't use it as every time I tried it kept saying email adress registerd already, and no help using forgotten password email either.
Even tried it with a gmail account and it said no.
Ahh well. Their loss is PH's gain . . . . I think
