I'm sorry if this is a duffers question but I can't find an answer through use of google.

Grand Prix translates as big prize (roughly I know)

Is there still a prize, other than a novelty trophy, for winning a grand prix? Cash? Wonga? And if so, how much?
Is there a prize for both the driver and the manufacturer/team? Is there a prize given for every race or is it given at the end of the season? Or both?

Money comes from FOM depending on WCC ranking, top 10 only.
The amounts and splits are not known, all part of the concorde agreement.

I don't know f there s prize money for each race any more.

Apart from Ferrari get a bigger cut than another else.

Actually when Mclaren were fined $100 million dollars in 2007,it was said they never paid anything, the FIA/FOC simply withheld their prize money and had all their points deducted.

On the brazil race forum the Lotus team principal said that they would get approx £30m for finishing tenth in the constructors and nothing for being any lower.
