Wyedean Rally 11th Feb 2012

Anyone here heading off to see this years Wyedean Rally? Or indeed is anyone taking part? This year will be my first as I only moved this way in March last year but I can't wait to get out into the forest to see it.

I could be tempted, not much info up yet on stages / times but will keep an eye.

I love the Forest of Dean. Where have you moved to?

I will be there, its always one of the best events of the year, normally with a huge entry

Apparently the spectator info will be available about a week before the event. I'll update in here as soon as I see it.

Moved to near Parkend back in March, from the horrors of SW Essex to the wonders of the forest ... loving it!

My Grandad was involved in developing the Whitemead Park site and I've stayed there from time to time over the last 30 years or so.

I do enjoy a nice pint in the Fountains. I may well come up for this rally and do an overnight stop either at Fountains or somewhere else locally.

It wasnt the best day IMO as I didnt enjoy watching people struggle in the icey conditions.

What an amazing result it gave though with a 1.4 Nova in 3rd

i was running the start on SS5 Trellech Forest. the sun hardly broke through the trees all day and temps were consistently in the -1 region. Most crews asked as i handed their time card back what it was like in there, and as soon as i said icy, the looks said it all!

Tell me tho someone got a vid of the red discovery? That thing was spitting flames waiting on the start line. Sounded amazing too!
