CJ, it would be a shame for everybody involved to change / clarify the regs only to lose you anyway. Hope you are staying.
especially as i think common sense is prevailing and on top of the tidying and corrections that john has apparently already made, the anomaly of road based cars with the correct p/w being bumped up a class due to the type of engine should be resolved :-)nobody seems to have a convincing argument for the current situation to stay, but plenty for it to be changed.
Its been nice to see over the last few days, that with all the discussions and contact going on, everyone seems to care passionately about the series and making it as fair and inclusive as possible, plenty of good natured if sometime fairly cutting banter to go with it

Interestingly I popped over to the forum of another series popular in current discussions, and they are having similar discussions over regs and classes

with all the cars i know about coming in this year i think you will be missing one of the most exciting years for the challenge in class A and B, and if all the C cars that have been sold recently are raced by the new owners C will be pretty good too!
it would be a shame for a long term challenge racer to leave, i know you will have your reasons but if that reason is to search for close racing i think you should give it a go this year!
are you on the e-group Cliff ?

Cmon CJ ya know ya wanna...
Nice 4.2 in there would make it hard to beat.
And thats just what we want!
Nothing to hide, I've acquired a 4.5 AJP8, already have an Emerald ECU sitting in my garage plus my modded 4.5 Cerb full of spares if I need them. It'll be tuned on an economical scale to 420-430bhp which should make the car very competitive in LMA and also pretty much bang on 325PTW if things in DTEC change.Nice 4.2 in there would make it hard to beat.
