Rain Lights on a Tuscan?

Just updating the car to regs changes over the 10 years its not been used. Got to put an FIA rain light on the back. What are you guys using and where have you put it? I'm thinking of getting one of those £20.00 round ones from Demon Thieves.......

ive, never been pulled up for it I just have the 2 high intensity fogs on the back of the car, but i d have one of those small rond dt ones in the tool box just in case.

central under the number plate wold seem to be the place to put it

Got mine in the middle above the number plate check the blue book DC as they have to be in a prescribed area.

Regs are you dont need a rain light if you have the two fogs.

ie you DO need them on cars that DON'T have TWO working fog lights.

While your at it DC, you DO need working 7" front lights and indicators.
Just treat it like a road car.
Dont know if some of this has been changed for 2012 though. I'd say not as lights are safety

2012 Blue Book says:
Red Warning Light
K.5.1. A rearward facing red warning light of a minimum
of 21 watts, with surface area minimum 20cm2,
maximum 40cm2, or of 21 watts with a surface area
minimum of 50cm2 and with lens and reflector to EU
Standards, must be located within 10cm of the centre
line of the vehicle and be clearly visible from the rear.
Vehicles fitted with full width bodywork may
alternatively use two lights equally located about the
vehicle centre line. An alternative light unit of equal or
enhanced constant luminosity or LED lights that are
either homologated by the FIA or comply with relevant
EU Regulations may be used.

and can anyone translate that into English?!? I have an additional LED rain light + twin brake lights as part of the Griff's standard tail-light cluster! Never failed scrutineering yet

its the twin FOG lights we're refering too Rich.

Just strikes me that an easily mounted rain light is a more simple solution than 2 fog lights, unless a Tuscan racer already has the apertures for twin fogs!

they do, and old tc regs meant you had to have them

I bought this one for my Westie years ago and at 10 squid, it's much cheaper than DT's and appears to be exactly the same.
