Why so little motorsport on Sky Sports?

Tennis
Wrestling!
Bobsleigh
Badminton

...probably lots more...

Surely there is also room for some kind of motorsport to get at bit a coverage?

Not motorsport season yet, and it is spread across eurosport, ESPN, Motors TV, BBC1, ITV4 and even a little bit on Channel 4.

To be fair there seems to be more motorsports programming on channels provided through sky than the traditional broadcasters. Particularly now the BBC has given most of F1 away.

Still wouldn't give them a red cent however.

I always wondered why they dropped World Motorsports after so long. That had such a variety of things on it. International racing, British national rallying, rallycross and even stock cars.

Motors TV covers all that now. Last year they were showing Rallycross rounds live.

This is true and I guess the F1 channel is coming

It wouldnt be hard for them to include more tho. Even if it is random re runs

There are very few sports that a TV channel will cover off of their own back.

Big events are an obvious one that they do cover...football or tennis for example. Big advertising money and big viewer numbers.

Other sports generally have to pay to be shown on TV assuming the channel can cover that event.
