Happening this Friday, but there is a problem. They want to do some 'promotional filming' as soon as they've launched it, but there is the small problem of Fiorano being covered in snow:

Patiently awaiting any Massa jokes.

Do you think if McLaren are serious about challenging Ferrari not just in F1 but as a supercar brand, that they've considered building their own track in Woking for "promotional" purposes?

Who cares what the intended 'promotional filming' was. Chuck some snow/ice Pirellis on and film some snow runs, it'll end up looking way better than whatever they had planned!

The "promotional filming" was the shakedown that all the other teams are going to do in the first test - it would have got them 20 or 30 laps ahead on the test programme.

Also an announcement that the 2012 car will have OZ wheels, as the start of a 3 year deal. They previously used BBS wheels.

Why bother? their promotional work consists of brand image: buy a mclaren and you will become Jensen/Lewis based on ethnicity and/or age.
