2013 daytona 500. things to do
Discussion
hi,
me and a friend will hopefully be going to the 2013 Daytona 500 and just wondering what is there to do in close vicinity to the speedway, being 18 I can't rent a car and don't have a bike licence so no rentals on two wheels either. i suppose a cab could be an option if there is something really good close by.

Are you planning on staying at the speedway itself?
Cabs / cars are the only transport, the buses are rank and there's FA in walking distance and even if there was you'd still take a cab. It's not a pedestrian friendly place.
The beach is nice enough. The rest, erm... there's no shortage of s
tty areas. Some nice bits, and always lots of stuff going on for tourists but plenty that aren't too hot. You really need transport and to go a bit further out if you want to see anything worth seeing. Plenty of bars etc though if that's what you're after. Stick to the north end, find some loose american women and get hammered.
