So it's called "global" rallycross, yet last year it was held all over America only. Hopefully they do come over here, still keep meaning to go to a rally cross event

British Rallycross is on Channel 4 at stupid o'clock in the morning sometimes (they never advertise it though). They have left the shows on Youtube though, hidden under the obvious title of British Formula 3 2009:

I'd like rally cross to be better covered, surely mad cars in very short sprint races is TV friendly. Maybe ITV4 should get it and put on a show when the BTCC isn't on.

Rallycross regularly used to be on Grandstand/World of Sport 20+ years ago, but seems to have fallen out of favour

ESPN too (or at least it has been for the last couple of years) available Freeview and VoD through BT Vision if you don't have satellite...

No substitute for actually attending a round though. Short races with small numbers of cars on a compact track makes for a very spectator freindly show even for those with short attention spans or who don't normally "get" motorsport so it's ideal as a family day out too - I've had some great days out with my wife and kids (who'll usually get fed up quite quickly at race meetings)at Lydden!

Gotta agree, rallycross is one mad bad mother of motor racing. Shame it's not as popular in the UK as it should be. I used to watch it as a kid on afternoon sports tv like grandstand etc.
