Just watched "Racing with the Hamiltons" on BBC.

What an inspiration Nic is in so many ways. In particular his meeting with the kids at Scope showed a very human side. I also saw a different side to Lewis.

What a great programme and I wish him all the best for the forthcoming season.

Good lad smile

Agreed. Very nice bloke, extremely determined with great attitude in trying circumstances. Also considering his first ever season showed good improvement. I hope next year rewards his hard work.

Great programme, having been to several event s this year the crowd love him too. Was also nice to see Lewis with his family chilled out and happy

What a grounded young man he is, Lewis came across very well too.

That was a nasty bump @ Thruxton

Recorded this and cannot wait to watch it.

Seems to me that he has faced many challenges in his life both physically and personally in the form of the relationship with his father and his brothers racing career. Always in the shade but now emerging and I love the fact that he is determined to do his thing despite the odds seemingly against him with his disability.

Nobody can blame Lewis for his now uber image and career, but it must be tough being the brother who never got the good breaks in life, unitl now it seems!

I also like the fact that Lewis turns up to his races and emerses himself in Nic's race weekends and somehow limits the spotlight on himself, making it clear that he is there for Nic, not him.

Looking forward to getting it on the tele this eve.

I also thought Anthony Hamilton came out of it very well. He's not had the best press since Lewis has been in F1, but I think showed what a great father he is. Let's hope that Bernie was watching and can learn a thing or two.

What a lovely family - Lewis and Nic, both top blokes. I still can't understand why people have such a problem with him.

Because he beat Alonso in the first corner of his first race and ended up beating him in his debut season too. If Alonso had not behaved so disgustingly, Lewis would have been F1's only Rookie Champion, morally he was.

Too many people had too much ego invested in the false Alonso the Invincible story for them to accept what they were seeing.

Great insight. Not sure if it's down to the edit as these things can sometimes be portrayed but felt there was some serious tough-love coming from the Dad.

Nic seems like a decent guy. Hard working and never say die.

Lewis came across much better. Presumably as he is in a relaxed environment talking about his family. Not in his work environment and not having the easiest year of it.

Anthony Hamilton comes across as a very hard but fair man. It's clearly about getting what is the best for his boys though - so can't argue.
