Barcelona and Valencia to share Grand Prix

What are everyones thoughts on this?
Personally I hate the Valencia race track and I'd be glad to see it go all together.
Whilst having to endure it every other year as opposed to annualy is a step in the right direction, the Barcelona track will also be seen less frequently and I think thats a bit of a shame. Whilst its not the best by a long way, it also isnt the worst out there and on the years when its not on the calendar, we'll be left with Valencia and nothing else!
Secondly, Will Bernie replace the race? He's been quite keen to have a 20 race season so in order to achieve this he'll need to find another race. It would be nice to think that he'd replace a European race with another European race but I wont hold my breath!
It would be nice, however to see a French GP back on the calendar (but hopefully not Magny Cours!) Imola would probably be wishful thinking as I cant see Italy funding two races but which other tracks could feasably fill the gap?

A circuit in Russia or South Africa would be my guess - both emerging markets. What are everyones thoughts on this?

They're both crap. Barca was neutered with that chicane.
This, although I would also add that it was also ruined by becoming the testing venue of choice for the teams. I'm sure there was one year where there were fewer on-track overtakes in the race than at Monaco.Gassing Station | General Motorsport | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
