I think that I recall that in the late 70's, during the JPS era, Motor Sport reported that Lotus GP had a budget of £4million to spend. Having recently watched the Classic GPs on ESPN you can see how simple things were in those days.
Stewart GP sold out to Ford as they could not raise more then £25million in 1999.
The £36million it now takes for HRT to achieve precisely nothing is simply ridiculous. IMHO
