The racing is fantastic now there is not a single dominant car
I dont really want to see seasons of Ferrari style domination again.
Having a Sauber nearly win for example is so much more fun to watch!
If Mr vettel is as good as Helmut thinks..
he will be able to win with an equal car performace to everyone else.
That said the RB6/7 was a fantastic achievement for RedBull/newey.
Just hope they do not get greedy after such success.

What a whiney little turd. He made himself instantly unlikeable when he panned Webber after Vettel crashed into him, now he's done it again with this. It's not that the car is suddenly slow, but more that it no longer suits Vettel that he's complaining about.

Who cares. F1 is exciting again, the coverage and commentary is decent and the finishing order is all over the place. If Helmut wants to play sour grapes so be it.
Let's face it, most of us would have laughed or collective sacks off if anyone had said a few years ago that in the not too distant future we'd have;
- a beautifully executed format and commentary on the BBC instead of ITV, and a half decent stab at it by Sky (for their first year at least)
- proper racing again instead of a precession
- loads of overtaking
- tyres that deliberately go off in a heartbeat to keep things exciting
- Sauber getting points
- williams not looking like a lost cause anymore
- some new team born out of the ashes of Jaguar Racing with a couple of WDC and constructors titles under their belt
Helmut can shove that lot down his pipe and smoke it. It's a long old season, he's got Newey, and now they're getting a taste of what McLaren had to put up with for the last couple of years trying to balance development catch-up with getting the car suited to the driver. F1 is so much better for being far harder to predict, long may it continue.

His job is to ensure DMs vision for the team is being fulfilled at an operational level, which mostly involves bigging Vettel up while keeping Webber down whenever possible.FisiP1 said:

Well, he is the chief of the Red Bull junior programme. I don't think he's really effective in that role, considering the number of drivers he's signed up and then dropped: not a very efficient approach!Frankly, I think DM should get rid of the Helmut, and bring in someone with more influence and personality to run the programme - like Coulthard.
