Nice, but this line would concern me!

The Advert said:
Starting and running this vehicle calls for specific equipment, third-party software licences and skills. The seller commits to providing the necessary technical support for a period of three years. This service will be provided at Peugeot Sport’s normal rates for technical support
Sounds like you could spend your 1.5m Euros on the car, spend quite a bit more on daily rates for Pug to start it for you, then after 3 years end up with a static display if they decided to no longer offer support or were prepared to sell you the software etc to run it.

Sounds to me like you're essentially buying the car to use in the ALMS / world sportscar for the next 3 years. Peugeot don't want to pay to run it. But if you want to then they'll take your cash.

Well - no. It is a 2007 so surely it is no longer eligible since the rule change to run in - essentially - anything? It ought to be quiet enough of track days though - the soundtrack is just wrong...

Don't think it's legal any more so not quite sure what you could do with it..

Nice problem to have though! laugh

The French unions will force Peugeot to sell all of their Le Mans cars plus kit, so the prices will fall. This will probably go off to the USA and the buyer won't need to support etc. Engine software etc is pretty simple to decode if you know what you are doing and have some knowledge of automotive engine and drivetrain design.

They are road car quiet on the track, the loudest thing about them is the tyre roar, brakes and wind noise. They are absolutely odd to watch live!

They are very frugal, they are very reliable and have more downforce than an f1 car.

It's actually a fairly decent track day steed, probably the quickest thing over 10 laps you could buy

Which may explain why Peugeot gave up on Endurance racing
