Blanket coverage of this event on Motors TV this weekend. Currently watching the electric cars from the Trophee Andros. They're crazy. Sound like electric trains, but are pretty quick! Carrera Cup with Seb Loeb later on in the dusk should be good to see.

I loved this place, went several times in F2 and F3000 days. Awsome! like Monaco without the posers and the cost. With a bit of initialtive, you could always get somewhere dangerous to watch from. To cap it all, one year I was there a tornado (not the aircraft) ripped through the paddock in the evening!

I'm there at the moment, been a great couple of days so far!

Looking forward to the Porsche race in an hour and a half - Sebastian Loeb on pole...

envy, just watching the RCZ race right now on tv. Used to get great oysters in the park, sure beats a devine burger at Silverstone!

Possibly the thing I enjoyed most about living in Pau although the historic GP there was probably more enjoyable. The sound of a DFV bouncing off the walls or at full throttle down the straight was spine pummeling.

re: the night racing Porsches- it's bloody great to watch from the Total hospitality stand above the pits on the main straight with as much free fizz as you can manage......making me wish I was back there.
