Sky haven't really added anything at all to F1 but they can with MotoGP which doesn't get anything like the coverage that F1 does on the BBC IMHO.

I wonder whether Sky are going to try and make a motorsports channel for both sports and potentially more?

Great, so not only do I hear today that we won't be seeing Mrs Stoner on the grid anymore, I now read that unless I give some money to weasel Murdoch I won't even be able to watch Moto GP?

Sad day for the sport.

They could be onto a winner. MotoGP, GP2, F1, Indy... I bet they could do some good, dedicated coverage of Le Mans and WRC as well.

Correct, the current MotoGP broadcaster in Italy has dropped MotoGP for World Superbikes and Sky Italia has bought the now available MotoGP coverage.

Which has got nothing to do with Rossi and Ducati not doing very well in MGP and Biaggi leading the WSBK Championships on an Italian Aprilia. wink

yes Eurosport's coverage is brilliant, far better than BBC's imo.

and fourthed !

As long as Toby and Jules come with it - then that's fine by me.
But shame Eurosports are loosing it and ultimately I think it's terrible for the sport.

Without even a gentlemanly reacharound. I would be interested in a Sky motorsports channel though. I havent told SWMBO (and Im not telling this forum) that I upgraded to full sports package solely to watch the IRL when relaxed and refreshed. getmecoat

That is not good news if MotoGP ends up on Sky. Potentially loosing F1 completely to SKy is bad enough - if MotoGP oes then that is bad news.

Suprised that Casey has announced his retirement so early in the season. He will be missed next year.
