tsTha's a bit weird. ITV2 v ITV4? Surely the people should just be able to choose a channel? It's not exactly like petrol-gusling and ball-hitting clash.
OTOH I'm also a Tennis fan and would be watching that over the BTCC anyway. What can I say, the scoring system simply makes it more exciting viewing...
Still, I have recording systems for a reason!

At least they have announced it in advance. On Monday night Eurosport delayed showing the live WSBK race from the US as the tennis over ran. They ended out showing it delayed by an hour. It's not transmitting Race 3 of the BTCC at Oulton on Sunday live next but delaying it until later in the evening after ITV4 has shown the French Tennis Open Final.
What on earth is going on? Covering tennis is bad enough but French tennis!
I wouldn't be surprised if the RG Final draws higher viewer ratings than the BTCC.
I mean, one, entertaining as it is, is a national level series which isn't exactly the peak of motor sport and tends not to draw huge crowds.
The other is an international event, that happens once a year in front of a lot more people and features the top 128 male and female talents at their respective sport.
Hard to see why they broadcast what they do...

It is a shame that race 3 wont be shown live however we still get very good coverage so missing one race isn't so bad. As for Eurosport, they are constantly having programs over run, its annoying but something that we have come to expect from them.
The WTCC races are being shown on Eurosport Player which is available to watch on their site (for a small fee) is worth investing in a 1 month pass though because some of the Le Mans Qualifying coverage wont be shown on tv due to clashes with some football highlights show they are showing.
