Having just read the regs - I might be persuaded - 6 team entrants would give a c. £250 entry fee for an hours racing each. mmmmmm Be good to get 6 Tuscans out!

I havent done it for a couple of year but I did team manage it last year, and we had a cracker. we were on for the win, but on our last driver change the safety car came out just after we had entered the pit lane, and we got held at the pit lane exit loosing the best part of a lap, and dropping to 4th!!! on handicap.


The handicappers did a cracking job there were 6 teams trading the top spot all the way through the race ( out of about 70 teams)

I either fancy doing it with a team of tuscans or a mix of tuscans and the midget boys..

to maximise track time and minimise time in the pits you ideally want a car that can run for an hour but I dont think a tuscan can manage much more than 30 mins on a standard tank. might be worth testing that somewhere.


For the cost per car and a chance to run on the full GP circuit ( it says historic but it did last year and it ended up being the new gp) or the historic that uses bridge rather than the new loop is almost a no brainer.

Mine could do it, Tims too - Perrys and i belive Hui is having a "proper" tank in it.

However, I'm doing quite alot in October already!

Thinking about it, Perry's DOES have a 60L tank, but that is only 20mins running!!!!

70L in mine but I'd have to do some training to drive for 60 minutes non stop as I can barely do 20 mins!

Tim's (my old car) only has 40L or 45L cant recall which . . . Tim

i have 62lts tanks in both cars but as you say the white car is very thirsty at the moment.i,d enter the yellow car if needed.

My red car with the RV8 has a fuel tank that holds at least 60 (nearer to 70) litres .
