The noise inside the stadium would be a health hazard! I think it's a fantastic idea but I'm sure they'll find a reason why it is inappropriate.

I used to live and work in Stratford, chuckling to myself at the though of ShirtSlinger and the other WAGS at the IBIS in Stratford and cruising the old Shopping Centre.

If nothing else it will reinforce the Glamour of Northamptonshire ex-airfields.

Thats said, F1 cars racing through the stadium would be an amazing sight, the Ferrari that was at the opening ceremony of a games recently (last Olympics?) was impressive, can imagine 24cars would look and sound unbelievable.

They run Monster Trucks in a stadium (we went to see them at Pride Park). And I reckon they were louder than F1 cars.

ETA did some research seems they are about the same. 125 for a monster truck, 125-128 for last years F1 cars.

there would appear to be be two "camps" om this.

My original post was in the area of Olympic Park, where as this one will be around Buck House and Hyde Park...

Also, they had the ROC inside Wembley stadium, with F1 & DTM cars.
