HI there,

I'm currently working in Motorsport in Cheshire, but maybe looking to go up on the ladder and gain more experience. I'm an apprentice and just looking for teams which aint really posted on the internet to be able to find easily.

I know of Paul Sheard, Chevron and Speedworks up here. If anyone knows others up here would be greatly appreciated.

Any form really, from club to top level etc. (Time Attack/Nippon/Formula/GT's etc)

Well its also looking for more experience on my weekends off etc as this is what has been asked by my Lecturer at college

Then your lecturer is an idiot.

You will gain plenty of experience by finishing your apprenticeship, I don't know how long you've been at the place you are currently working but the fact that you are still and apprentice tells me you haven't seen it all. If you start at a new company you will be treated as the new boy again and given nothing difficult to do for a long time, stay where you are and ask for something more challenging if you are that bored.

Oh I aint bored. Was just thinking of maybe more experience on the weekends when I'm off work thats all. Plus could be a little bit more money in my pocket as £400 a month apprenticeship wage isn't always the best lol

OP, ignore this.

Getting as much experience as possible is what your lecturer means, and is how I read your post, so stick with that and ignore those who tell you to stay still.

I'm sure you already have, but maybe a few trips to Oulton Park to some race meetings would be a good idea. The paddock is a friendly enough place and ideal for doing some networking.
