It happened on the Houx campsite access at about 8pm on Sunday. Seems owner was showing-off to 4-year old and lost it badly on LH kink, launched from kerb; demolished the security fence and smashed into the side of a car transporter.

The driver had a big gash in head; boy was OK.

The SP tidied-up, but the Police were not involved.

Was it a T70 or a P4, bit difficult to tell from that and more importantly was it an original or a repro?......Martin

It's been discussed on another of the Le Mans Classic threads. Driver was being a complete pratt, it rolled a few times before hitting the transporter.

we saw this on the way down. It had a modern Ferrari v8 engine in a lookalike body. Would have been quick but he seemed to have engine problems. Glad noone was badly hurt

One of our group

Car was a Canam Ferrari 4.8V12.

Driver and passenger (21 not 4) both ok.

Car didn't roll.

You live and learn....

Luckily no damage to the Mclaren F1 in the truck... That would I've been an interesting insurance claim!
