I've said it ever since he pulled that move on Lewis after Q2 in Spa last year... He belongs in a Venezuelan banger race and shouldn't be anywhere near F1.
totally disagree. the guy is absolutely rapid, and just needs a team principal to get his head in the right place. Vocal Minority said:
He is plenty quick enough, but the guy has a serious f

He may have calmed down already. This weekend he was unlucky. He made a move that he had a good chance of pulling off. It didnt go to plan but at least hes fast and attempts to overtake. Thats more than could be said for most of the others racing/queuing around the track...

Well said. i disagree that he needs a team principal to get his head in the right place. he needs to calm down and stop making stupid mistakes (and by stupid, i don't just mean going a little wide here and there, and losing control - that's just part of not being very good). he's old enough now to know better, he's had his chances and i don't think deserves a place in that (or any) team.
still, it does bring the 'random' element to F1 that bernie likes...

F1 needs a fast villain now schumi has gone senile, to add a bit of spice, Maldonado fits the bill perfectly imo.
Last year we had Lewis Hamilton, this year it's Maldonado.I'm sure someone did a Senna documentary parody for Lewis but can't find it, but I did find this...

Agree with this to be honest. On pace alone he's making Bruno Senna look pretty poor most weekends to be honest. The fact the pundits had to resort to pointing on that if he hadn't won Senna has outscored kind of shows some barrel scraping for me. The fact is the guy has won, and he won with skill and pace rather than just look. Yes he needs to calm down at times but he's made a huge improvement since last year, on raw pace I think he's up there with the best and if he's fast he can be calmed down and made ot think a bit more.
