Fair play that man! Anyone who can come back as strongly mentally as he did deserves recognition

will have to head up for it, anyone know that dates as it wasnt in that article

The man is a legend - no pun intended or insinuated there.

After his awful accident he could have given up, whinged, moaned, bleated, complained etc etc.

But what does he actually do? Gets back into his Indy car to complete the 'lost' 13 laps.....

That is what legends are made of. Added to that he then goes back racing! Nothing but total admiration for the guy.

A true inspiration to us all.

Certain hot headed F1 drivers should take note, think about Zanardi for a moment & then re-adjust their (his) mindset.

Alex Zanardi. A proper role model.

I have tickets to two of the days at Brands Hatch and I really hope I get to see this extremely brave and inspirational man.

But, then I think all the Para-Olympic athletes are brave and inspirational.
