Can't afford any of the hospitality/ VIP stuff.

Quick glance at the site it looked like the Sun tickets were between £100 - £250.

Always like good value so I guess whats the best spot without paying over the odds?

I sat in most of the grandstands over this years gp, i'd say becketts and club were the best but there £320 and £261 for club, village was pretty good too.

Make sure you get a covered grandstand, if not you may aswell get there mega early and have general admission, also consider going for the whole weekend.

How does the banding work? Band 3, 4, 5 etc?

It's where they've split the grandstands into sections and priced them according to view.

I sat in club band 3 for qualifying, but band 5 is still a really good view.

Becketts is all the same band, village i sat in band 4 which is closer too the track but not much closer really. If you can get a seat at the top you can see them go down brooklands straight, its windy up there though.

If money was no option i'd go for club or becketts but i'm on a budget so will be in copse next year.

I'm lucky it's my mrs who wants to go to f1, i think it's vastly overpriced, give me bike racing anyday.
