I had a really great time in my DAX at the MSV How Fast competition on Saturday (1st September). An hours practice and then two timed laps - I don't think I've ever had so much fun for £99!!

And I took top spot on the leaderboard with a time of 1:13.965! Not a bad showing for a road-going car fitted with a set of 2-year old slicks!!

Interesting leaderboard. A Dax Rush is a 'modified' sports car and a Juno is a 'not modified' sports car. scratchchin

Nice one, would you suggest a Dax is the way forward if you were looking at this sort of car?

i think the Juno is not down as modified as it is probably the same as when it left the factory as a race carconfused

i think it's a great car, if you're interested Dax are having an open day this saturday. If the weathers nice there should be a few nice cars to look at.

Er, and then a Radical SR8 in the next session did a 1:08.4
The boys there said there's loads more to come as it was on tired old tyres, the wrong gearing (it had last raced at Paul Ricard apparently) and had done no set up work. Impressive isn't a big enough word.clap

Oooh, cheers. I'll try and get over to that, it looks fun and should give us some ideas.
