It is a total recreation of a tipo 151 Maserati built from parts and a 5000GT engine.
What is such a shame is that the genuine 151 was crashed.
I think there were only three cars ever made.

Better to be raced and crash than fester in a private collection somewhere out of sight. Wonderful to see the brace of 151s out there and Jochen Mass drove the 5L car beautifully yesterday in the race.

Given that there are a huge number of these sorts of car where about the only origianl part is the chassis plate I, and it would appear those with the money to buy the damn things, ceased bothering about that in the early '90's
