Where can I get tickets for this?
I have found the WRC tours website but I can't afford to have Thursday/Friday/Monday off work so was after sat/sun stage tickets but I can't find them anywhere!

You are a newbie to all this aren't you? Also, seemingly, conditioned to shelling out at the drop of a hat. Now, don't let this become general knowledge but rallies held in France are (looks both ways) -FREE.
The French know better than to charge their tax payers to stand by the side of a closed public road (which they've already paid for!) Recipe for anarchy.
Other countries free at the point of use are Spain (off to there in 4 weeks), Greece, Turkey and Italy. Reasonable charges are made for Germany, Finland, Sweden and Belgium - Only WRGB being a major rip-off (IMVHO)
So you fly to Nice, pick up your hire car, drive to your selected spot and spend two days with the french and italian hoolies halfway up a mountain. The best part of the rally is the Wednesday / Thursday section near Valence. By Saturday the rally will be a) decimated (they don't allow super-rally) and b) drivers mostly in consolidation mode.

as had been said, plenty cheap accomadation in nice or beausoliel at that time of year.

Since I'm older than Yoda, everyone is a newb to me!! Take a look on WRC.Com at last years stage itinerary and stage times for the night stages. That will give you a good idea of what you can expect. Seriously though, the Col de Turini is an event that is more about being there than the quality of the actual rallying on show.
