According to autosport there is a non bailable arrest warrant with his name on it. It's for bouncing a £2m cheque for airport fees. His loss making airline has had its fleet grounded for 2 weeks.

Force India drive anyone????

Once the right palms have been greased that 'arrest warrant' will soon disappear.

The company hasn't made a profit since it was formed in 2005....

How will he get cash to grease palms?

True, he is a member of the Indian parliment. I am also suprised they have dared to embbarrass him like this.

The company has annual sales of over US$4 billion and a market capitalization of approximately US$12 billion.
I thought so, the airline was just a way of advertising the alcohol part of the business in India. I believe he set up Whyte and Mckay music cd's as a company last year just to advertise the whiskey part of the business in India also.

Joe Saward has been comentating on VJ and the Sahara guys for a few months now. Not a surprise, I am amazed FI F1 is still going tbh with the debts he has!

Quite a lot of motorsport teams are funded on debt....no names, no pack drills...

But isn't the team on firm ground with Sahara backing (ground, not sand...)

What that means for FIF1? Perceived wisdom is that Alguersuari's money will buy Kobayashi's seat with Gutierrez in the other. Surely TSP will dredge up some money to keep Di Resta in his seat at FiF1? Will VJ look for another pay driver (I imagine Dekra pay Hulk's wages but they currently have no branding on the car)?

Me. That's a blast from the dark & dim past. I had forgotten about him until you mentioned his name.
