I though he gave up racing when 'beaten' to the first corner in Australia way back in 1997 by Mikka Hakkinen.

Hope he may consider doing some 'Mercarbeit' at thr Revival now he won't have any clashes -good family atmosphere too in the driver's club, I'm led to believe.

F1 drivers have a reputation of being a cut above the rest, so I'm impressed with quite how badly DC and Ralf Schumacher have done in DTM this season!

Its strange, people who drop down to DTM seem to struggle but those who come up seem to do a very good job.

I guess after ten years in F1 at the age of 40ish it may be hard to adapt compared to someone aged 25 who is moving from 1-2 years in DTM to F1.

Also in terms of motivation it will be harder for the one moving down than the one moving up.

Coming from single seaters I guess it's a bit of a step change. I've not seen a lot of DTM but I assume it's a little more..."bashy" than F1?

Current DTM cars are pretty much single seater chassis with a body kit on top. From what I've seen with DTM it matters more about which team our in. You only have to look at some of the guys who've gone there with good reputations and have struggled as they've not been in the right team.
