That's what we thought about Lewis in 2007. I'm just saying....

I have a feeling Alonso will take it, I don't know why, I just do.

I think he deserves it more too.

Fingers win, although Alonso may well beat him in the race. I'd rather Alonso took the c/ship but I think the gap is too big now.

No idea!

...although I'd like it to be Fred.

After seeing Massa at the end of yesterdays race he seems to be the perfect wingman again.

So Fred needs to finish 3rd with Vettel no higher than 10th.

Or if Alonso wins the race Vettel has to be no higher than 5th. Its a long shot for Fred unless Vettel DNFs but doable . . . there might be rain too biggrin

Id like Alonso to win and have voted for him, but I wouldnt want to put any money on it. I will be doing rain dances in the back garden though.

I can't see Vettel not winning it.

Firstly you'd need Vettel not to finish - which is a possibility. Red Bull reliability issues and some very stormy / wet weather is forecasted for this weekend.

But Alonso still needs to finish 3rd or higher. And that's a big ask.

Fair enough. Actually a wet race would be very entertaining. Much better than Vettel putting it one pole and taking an easy win. Another 2008 style epic would be the perfect fisnish to a very interesting and mixed up season.

Problem for Alonso is that I don't think he has the car to win in Brazil, or even for second.

I think it's going to be Hamilton/Vettel battle for the win.

Vettel.

I'd love to see Alonso win it though, not his biggest fan but I do love it when the underdog wins.

Vettel certainly has the best chance. But a DNF could really spoil his day. It is only going to take one mad overtake by certain dodgem car drivers and that will be that. Of course Fred has the same risk. I (and I hate myself for saying it as Seb is a nice bloke) hope Fred wins it. Just nice to see someone really battle and drive the wheels off the car week in and week out. Though saying that I was rather put out by Ferrari's behaviour at Austin.

Want to see Alonso take the title, but think it will go to Vettel.
Maybe next year.
