I'm trying to find a listing of the average track temps at F1 races, but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Can anybody here help me out please?

Will WEC temps be any use?

Funny! It's a very boring question for a very exciting project...

I'm not 100% what they are. Essentially it's just trying to work out the temp around the circuit during the race weekend.

No point trying to work out an average for the season because there's such a huge variation depending on race, session, cloud cover etc - you can see a 10 degree change over a single session. I think the maximum this season has been around 48/49 at Valencia. In FP3 at Austin we were at 11 just before the start of the session.

Can I ask why you want to know?

I guess the peak temp is the most important one.

I can't really tell you why I'm asking I'm afraid!

Hmm, interesting. You obviously don't work in F1 as you'd know the numbers already. And I'll guess you don't work for a potential supplier as they would have been watching the numbers all season already also - or taking them from the FIA feed.

I'll admit to being intrigued.

I'm intrigued as to why you want to know too!

I know what gears used to measure the track tramps and provide the wind speed / humidity etc and I've seen the feeds thats supplied to the teams from the FIA.
