I don't usually get upset when someone I don't know dies, but I remember being gutted when I heard he passed away.

He was a true gent, sorely missed. I can't believe it's been 7 years.

I still have a photograph of Richard and myself together, he stopped a TV interview he was in the middle of to come over and have it taken and give me his autograph when I was younger.

Nothing was too much for him, I was absolutely gutted when he passed away.

RIP Rich.

Gone but never forgotten.

Can just imagine him hooning around up there with a certain Mr McRea in a pair of Imprezza's.....

RIP Richard.

When he won the title back in 01 I was only 7, remember thinking how amazing he was. Grew with him and WRC...brings back many memories. Gone but not forgotten. #paintitorange
