Live!

On radio and TV, at times.... I think.

The crucial missing word is "live".

Not all live though? Just like this year.

The BBC has 3 'platforms': TV, online and radio. All races are live on the radio and online, (either with pictures or text commentary), and half of them are live on tv, with the other half shown as highlights.

Simples! biggrin

Just watched the race on the IPlayer with issues caused by bandwidth on Infinity, however at end Jake said 2013 was live on BBC, however guess as said its live on radio!

Quite why the BBC have to have a headline on their website saying Vettel champion, when you need to go to that page to get to IPlayer I dont know!

I always watched the live quali and race when it was on the BBC despite having Sky F1 HD.

Gary Anderson's input is fantastic, the presenter seem to be enjoying themselves - the Sky lot always seemed fking miserable to me, oh, and no adverts.

This.

All the races of the 2012 season were broadcast live on the BBC in one form or another. However, only 10 of them were broadcast live on TV.

Perfectly reasonably given how big the news is, I reckon! I've always gone straight to the iPlayer site instead, no way to accidentally find out the result then. Unless it's tennis, in which case they separate it into sets, which often completely gives away the result after you've watched a set or two mad

I have the iPlayer web address as a "favourite" so I can access it without needing to go through BBC News or Sport headline pages.
