Would you chaps let me know what the preferred wheel is for the TC car (original fitment) and whether they are still available (I assume they're Compo's)? Also the size and fitment spec please? Cheers thumbup

Conpomotive mo's

18x9. Is the standard You can put 18x10 on the back

They have all the right details although they did manage to send a set to australia with 4 stud not 5 !

Hello Heads,

I'm looking for some winter wheels for my Tuscan, so I can keep my race wheels in from the cold. I believe the studs are 5 x 112.5 pcd. Will Cerb wheels fit, or granada/scorpio steel rims? Any ideas?

I'm not sure if the Spiders will fit. I lent my Dymags and sticky trackday tyres to my mate who has a Tuscan 6 (currently wearing 18" Spiders) and he said they wouldn't fit as the PCD was different.

the tvr 5 stud from cerb onwards is different to the 5 stud on the wedge / tuscan challenge car.

its almost the same but not quite. iirc you can get them on and bolt them but your bending the studs...

Its a ford PCD on the wedge/ tc

Hi Graham

So you are saying a Cerbie wheel will not fit on a Tuscan, as I was going to have my wheels refurbed over the winter when a set of good used tyres can be found!

If Cerbie wheels will not fit will a set of my old wedge OZ wheels fit for it to sit on!

you can bodge them to fit but the pcd is different, so I wouldnt really want to drive with them. I suppose you could fit them with wobble bolts.. the wedge wheels are the same pcd as the TC car

My gut feeling is that Graham's spot on. I wouldn't try and bodge anything on. I reckon your hubs are Ford Granada / Scorpio friendly. As the discs and calipers on your car are presumably fairly jumbo on the front, You'd have to check that a set of mickey-mouse Granada wheels will clear all the manly Tuscan stuff.

Thanks for the replys. My problem is that all the scorpio/granada wheels are 15 inch, way too small for the tuscan so, does anyone have the odd tuscan wheel going cheap, ie less than £50?

I'm sure we'd all like a source of Tuscan wheels at £50 a pop!!
