Genuine question, just read a article that said Ferrari wont have their new one ready until August. Given the fast paced world of F1 and general building speed these days why 8months to completion?

Is it the calibration side that takes the time?

I suspect that's correct. Given they struggled to work out what was wrong with the old one then they are probably being ultra careful

Given the limitations on wind tunnel time I thought the majority of aero work was now done by CFD?

The restrictions cover both tunnel time and CFD. If you use more CFD you are allowed less tunnel time and vice-versa.
