Hi all,

I have bought some tickets for Monza this year, and am looking for a place to stay. I'm after atmosphere over anything else - I.e. being around the fans.

Has anyone camped there before (had great fun camping at Spa)? Otherwise, is it best to stay in Milan?

Thanks,
Nick

It's easy to get the train and shuttle bus from Milan. The traffic can be bad though so leave plenty of time on the Friday morning. I missed part of the opening GP3 practice on the Friday morning in the jams. It's a wonderful experience though. Enjoy!

Yep stay in Milan and get the train in. Then you can enjoy Milan in the evenings.

Though last year we were chauffeured in - only took 45mins or so but on Sunday getting back took nearly 2hrs.
Still a lot better than Silverstone.

Loved it. Will be looking for another invite this year wink

Como or Erba offer something different, stunning water views, great roads to get to Monza and cooler weather. I prefer the lakes than Milan, more scenic, less industrial.

Totally agree with this.

Found the train experience on Sat & Sun from Milan horrible.
