Can't imagine Mr Webber will be impressed by this article.....From this article http://www.crash.net/f1/news/180405/1/f1_2012_driv... it would appear Webber was paid 10 million euro last year, for that kind of money I'd expect him to do whatever he was told to do. He's an employee at the end of the day, a very highly paid one at that, employees usually follow instructions or find another job.

Yep. But who knows what's in his contract.He's not stupid, hes a 37 year old with a teammate who's a 25 year old triple world champion. Of course his role is a No. 2.

I don't get the "HM is a twunt" at all.
Webbo isn't WDC material. He missed his boat in 2010. He disappointed last year and competed with Button for the wooden spoon/top 5 driver ie. Kimi, Alonso, Vettel, Hamilton were in a league of their own.
Team orders has been part of racing. Hardly anyone bemoans Fangio retiring from a race jumped into his team mate's car and winning the WDC.

Sanctimonious & somewhat hypcritical are RBR - Horner blows with the wind in terms of what he will say from one week to then next on stuff like this.

Peter Collins wasn't told to hand his car over to Fangio in 1956. I think Webber was unduly aggressive in the last race, Vettel needed points, Webber had nothing to gain or lose, and Red Bull had invested a huge amount of time and money to win both championships - one of which was still undecided. In my opinion, they were entitled to expect more co-operation from Webber than they received, it's a team sport and he's paid a lot of money.
I don't see why the drivers should be free to race each other especially when one driver is out of contention, if they owned the team or paid for the drive then maybe, but that isn't the case at Red Bull.

It's part of the games/'mind games' to influence the decision makers for your own ends; conversely the same with the accusations of 'cheating'/pushing the limits of the rules the accusers tend to have the weaker car.
Marko is hardly a threat to Webber. No matter what Marko says, he is only the manager of the Red Bull Junior program. He has no executive authority in the running of RBR, and no control over its drivers.
He's just spouting some hot air, as usual.
Webber seems to feel pretty secure. If he wasn't, he would have signed a multi-year deal, rather than a single-year one. Both Horner and Newey know that a significant reason for their success is driver continuity. Webber isn't quite on the downward slope yet, and as long as his performance is reasonable (and it has been), he's not going to get bumped out.
