I'm not sure when I'll be ready yet, we'll probably shake down some time around mid-march, but then a proper test maybe end of march/early april?

I did suggest a couple of dates

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/post.asp?h=0&am...

although the first might be a bit early for some, and the silverstone date is a different layout to the one we race on.

Morning Bill,

Castle Combe have there own GT Championship, Tuscan's can race in class D or Invatation class. As myself and nick have our cars at Neil Garners open day on the Saturday anyway combe is only 30 mile away so no extra travel costs.Give Jo a call she looks after GT.s at combe.

edited to add the race day is easter monday

cheers perry

whats wrong with the 1st of March day i suggested its not to expensive and is on the circuit we race on as opposed to the later international day which is also more money, i would love to race at coombe but feel i need testing time to try different things out on a car that still feels very alien to me!
I've just booked so guess i could be the only Tuscan going!!

Hi Christian
I only surgested Combe to nick as his car is up there anyway at Neil's day.I use the Combe GT's as a test day anyway as i am 10 or 11 seconds off the leading paceyikesI think quite a few people are still bolting there cars back together after winter work in early march hence why most want to test in late march.Weather is better in late march except last year when me and Andy ummed and arrred for wets or slix in both races and got both guesses wrong. It,s a hard job perdicting wether it will rain or not.

Hi Perry, I'll have to wait and see how the Tuscan comes along in the next couple of weeks. To let you know where I'm at; its driveable at the moment (just), but is off in Macclesfield until next week for a new exhaust. As soon as its back I'll book it in for mapping (4.2 at the moment), and then we start the long list of tidy up jobs; interior, bodywork, tidying up the electics and making sure it all works properly. This lot could take some time so I won't commit to any proper testing until its a little closer I think. Should know more in the next couple of weeks though smile

Syvecs S6.. It runs on a base map at the moment and drove onto the trailer, although didn't have an exhaust and is rather rich (cue TVR flamethrower)
