BTCC at Brands Hatch - Grandstand seating?
Discussion
Am planning on going to the first round of the BTCC later this month and would like to know how beneficial it is to have grandstand seating as it is already a fairly costly day out without paying extra for grandstand seats.
I usually only go to Thruxton and Silverstone, where I am happy sitting on a camping chair and always manage to get good views of a screen and a good section of the track, will this be the case at Brands Hatch?
Have read about parking at South bank but I imagined this being tightly packed together on a hill restricting the time that I could leave, correct me if i am wrong.

Druids is a pretty good place
I've only ever watched from the inside there, but you end up with a sore neck from turning round and round!
I like Clearways on the Indy circuit, on the grass bank to the right of the hospitality suites. You can see a fair bit of the track from there. Haven't been at Paddock Hill for years, mainly because it's far too busy unless you know somebody in there with some chairs.

Paddock Hill grandstand probably gives you the best view across the circuit. We'll usually get a couple of tickets there but also trot around and view from various points throughout the day.
This is what I do, always get the grandstand on paddock hill bend, and take a wander during the day, and its close to the main car parks if you want to leave stuff in the car but head back during the day.The first round is on the Indy, if you're going to go for a grandstand seat go for Paddock Hill, I've been in all the grandstands and this is the best one. You can see the whole Indy circuit from the Paddock hill grandstand. It's also probably the most action packed corner. If you don't go for a grandstand try and get up to druids fairly early, great for photo's

Paddock is the one to be in for certain.
Palmer doesnt like to dip his hand into his pocket for the big screens at Brands, either on an Indy day of the full GP, so tp make the most of it you want to me either in the Paddock grandstand or sat on the bank.
You can wander around the entire track easy enough, go up to druids during the support races for some pics
Have a good one, I am hoping to be there for the Sunday, but uncertain if I will make it a the mo
