Not near the car but mine is a pace bg pump

Outlets will depend on what pump and what sump you have.

And how many stages.

Mine is 2 stage scavenge and 1 stage hp.

2 feeds from sump 2 output to coolers

1 feed from tank to hp and that goes to 1 feed to motor

Hi dude
Blue ones at the front are the pump bit
The ones behind are scavenge
The chambers match from top to bottom looking at the pump horizontally ie as in the car. Should have in and out labelled but I think it's bottom to top to help them prime.
Oil feed is tank to pump to engine with the cooling being done on the return,
Done that way so the oil is cooled on the lower pressure side (incase the rads get holed) and reducing the temp in the tank.

These are the only ones I have. As Andy says, the two stages to the rear are scavenge and the port next to the pully / reg valve is the discharge to engine. Hope this helps smile

The slight issue i need to sort out is the top picture of my pump shows the out pipes joined together into one JIC-18 very close to the pump it,s self creating back pressure in the pump.where you see the tippex i have to seperate pipes and was wondering what others had done to eleviate the back pressure as this pump of mine does not have any parts available now and i want to keep on running this one so am trying to sort out whats needed to releive the pressure adding to pump life i hope.mine is an early Pace pump for reference.

on mine I have 2 scavenge lines to the pump. One from the front of the of the sump and one from the back. The outlets from the scavenge stages have individual pipes and are not joined together.

wouldnt have thought back pressure would be a problem. Its a very low level by there.
the main issue would be restricted flow. only a factor if both are flowing max and thats not usual as you are usually relying on the rear as you accellerate / front as you brake. There is no coasting smile

split the pipes and put in a second entry to the tank. not hard.

both my griff and the tussie had twin returns btw.

Hi Perry, I have added a couple of pictures that may help. I have put coloured of tape on the pipes to show where they go. The yellow one goes to the bottom of the front oil cooler and the red one goes to the bottom of the rear oil cooler. The two pipes from the top of the coolers go to the tank. I hope this helps.

That, sir, is a galvanised, 90 deg, 1/2" bsp, male / female, malleable elbow.

A jolly useful fitting smile

Hi Perry, I am pleased I could be of assistance. We met at the Blackpool Sprint in 2010 and you posted this picture of my car on 24th Sept 2011 under the thread “Favourite photos of your racing TVR”

Hi Perry,
Still not using the car much, just the odd track day, but what with the lousy weather and the stiff noise regulations, finding a suitable venue on a sunny day is proving a problem. I am reluctant to quieten it down as it sounds glorious which is part of the fun. Good job the car is road registered; at least I can go and have a blast up and down using all the potholes as a slalom course. It is still my favourite car to drive and never fails to put a smile on my face. Roll on those hot summer days we all dream about.

Roger as you know mine is road legal as well but i use it in the future classic's seris as i have not found a friendly insurance company after Mannings stopped insuring them for some reason to use it for the tescoe's shopping trips . biggrin I have put my car on a diet this winter and look to improve on our top 5 finishes in our class with the CSCC.once i have rerouted the oil pipes that is.
