I couldn't find it in his blog. Can you post a link? My title was tongue in cheek because I actually believe that Paul may no longer have the connections there with the departure of Haug, but I am struggling to understand why, nationality aside, Sutil can have any impact on such a decision. He has never, to my knowledge, been a Mercedes-affiliated driver.

I agree Sutil isn't Mercedes affiliated but I interpreted Joe's comments to mean Mercedes wouldn't supply Force India engines, if they were employing a Ferrari affiliated driver.
