First time going to British F1 (on the sunday), and was wondering how long to expect to get there?

Read that it has taken some people 90mins to get from the M40 to the park and ride!

Has anyone driven from west London - how long should I leave to get there?

And has anyone done the helicopter flight instead? (far to expensive for what it is, but im never going to do this again, and if it genuinely saves me sitting in a car for 2 hours queuing to get in and then out again - im tempted!

cheers

Just get there early, by early I mean at Silverstone by 8am at the latest and it's fine (on previous experience).

I can bike it in 20 minutes from my house if that helps.

I'd come on the sat and camp sat night, £30 per pitch at dadford road for just sat night then you don't have to pay to park sunday and you don't have to get up early.

We always used to drive to a local airfield and be driven cross country into the circuit .
