Just planning ahead for November, probably taking the Friday off work. Which stages would people recommend based on the new route? Not a hugely intensive trip, just one stage on the Fri and one stage on the Sat?

Done Rally Germany and Portugal in 2012 and 2013 respectively, but not done a Rally GB since about 1998 so any tips would help.

Not a fan that we have to pay £15 a stage, but that's life so lets not have a thread moaning about the cost and referring everything to 'the good old days'.

Was debating this with my dad on Sunday. My in-laws live a stone's throw from Llandudno so I'm intending on doing Sat / Sun at least. I fancy a forest stage, Chirk Castle and then the Great Orme at the very least.

I was looking at the great orme but thinking it might be a bit rammed with spectators? Chirk Castle looks good though.

Well given that there were 2 runs of the Orme in 2011 with no other daylight stages running close by and it was comfortable spectating - I'd say it's unlikely to be that rammed bearing in mind that 2 runs of Kinmel is happening this time just up the road.

I'd recommend Myherin for Friday and Gartheiniog on Saturday if you want the max viewing for minimum travel
