Team Hard have just announced that Paul O'Neil will be driving their second Insignia for the Knockhill weekend.

It will be good to see him back in his proper place and not answering tweets.

Hope the car is competitive with the right boost levels.

Even blew a turbo!

Good to see him back out in a car.

The other Insignia is being driven by a customer of ours.

See comments like this are why the BTCC should tell the fans what boost is being run. Sorts out the B.S. then wink

Good to see him back where he belongs, no disrespect to goff but be good to see where the car is with a top line driver.

So this must rule out fuller that was supposed to be running in the car at some time this year.

He's not in Goffs car, he's in the red car. I suspect they're going to run the red car like they did with the Honda last year, with one-offs filling the seat.

Nope hes in goffs car he is missing knockhill.

Just wish someone would give him a drive for a year to be honest he's a crap presenter and is wasted being in front of the tv.

Splitting hairs here, but no he's in the car formerly driven by James Cole and Robb Holland. Kieran Gallagher is in the Jack Goff car. http://www.btcc.net/html/generalnews_detail.php?id...

For as long as there is a lack of proper paying works teams in the BTCC or heavily private-funded teams, Paul won't be driving.

Well autosport is saying it's the other way round so not sure. Anyway be good to see the comparison between the insignia and Passat with 2 good drivers.

Gallagher tested the Goff car the other day. smile Interesting combo. A BTCC veteran with no testing in the car and a Knockhill expert with not much experience at all.

Amazing that Kieran Gallagher has a BTCC drive, at Brands today he qualified 18th for the VW cup.
Hardly (pardon the pun) the ideal credentials for BTCC
However maybe he will do a whole load better and surprise a few of the regulars.
Good luck Kieren.

Given that he's never driven round Brands before it's not too bad.

Knockhill is his home circuit and knows it very well, so I'd expect him to do better. He was testing at Brands in the Insicknia and was doing times quick enough to put him in 18th, which isn't bad in a new car on a new (to him) circuit.

Fair comment, I thought he drove well today with a 10th and a DNF when looking racy.
There were e few other drivers that could deliver well given a BTCC opportunity.

Yep carl breeze should be given a drive hes been in the support series since I can remember. But it's all about the money but am glad that gilham is giving the opportunity for new drivers to have a go at the btcc.
